I. Consignment Policies.

A. Consignment Period. Items are accepted on consignment for 90 days. Contracts cannot be renewed, and items may not be reconsigned.

B. Software Requirements. Only original manufacturer's distribution disks and documentation are accepted for consignment. Original boxes are not required, but are highly desired. Packages listing dual media (3-1/2" and 5-1/4" disks) must have both size disks to be accepted.

C. Pricing Policy. We establish the asking price for the item and reserve the right to refuse to take any item on consignment for any reason. Asking price for items remaining unsold will be reduced 20% every 30 days. Offers will not be accepted or forwarded.

D. Disposition of Items. Items not sold or picked-up 30 days after the end of the contract become the property of AC Computers. Consignors desiring a notice at the end of the contract period must provide an e-mail address.

E. Removal of Items. Items can be removed from the store at any time. Items removed during the first two weeks will be subject to a handling charge of $10.00 or 25% of the consignment price, whichever is less. Any item removed cannot be reconsigned for the next 180 days.

F. Defective Items. The owner will be notified by mail of any item found to be inoperative, defective, or incomplete. Items not picked up within 30 days of the notice will be disposed of as abandoned property.

G. Packing Materials and Boxes. We are not responsible for the boxes or packing materials brought in with consigned items.


II. Payment Policy.

A. General. All payments are made by check to the person whose name is on the account.

B. Commission. AC Computers receives a 30% commission on the final sale price of any item sold.

C. Payments. Payment for sold items is at the end of the month for items that sold at least five business days prior to the end of the month. Checks will be available for pickup the first business day of the following month.

D. High-priced Items. Items with a payout value of $100 or greater can be paid five business days after they sell.
