We update and expand this listing as time permits. We started off with our closest neighbors and those places we frequent on a regular basis. Part of the reason we started this list is to give our customers some added information as to what other businesses are close by. Hopefully, you can see something here that interests you or your family, and you don't have to make a choice about coming to see us, or going to Wal-Mart for clothes or other stuff.

There have been several changes in Our Neighborhood during the past couple of months. We will get that information for you in the next couple of weeks. As I said earlier, this is a project being accomplished as time permits.

We want to take this opportunity to introduce you to some of our neighbors. Downtown O'Fallon has a lot more to offer than many people think. While you won't find any "Super Stores," there are many small stores offering quality products at reasonable prices. What is more important, you'll find people who are very knowledgeable about the products and services they sell.

On a personal note, our own Vickie has become a Mary Kay Personal Beauty Consultant. She really likes their skin care products and fragrances, but also has their full line of makeup. You are invited to stop by and talk with her about Mary Kay, or visit her Web site. She knows how to budget her time and would be willing to meet with you outside of her normal work hours. If she isn't busy, ask her about Satin Hands.

Alottof Antiques 105 East First Street	Friday and Saturday - 9AM to 1PM or by Appointment	Offering antiques, collectibles, glassware, and china, this shop is a recent addition to our neighborhood.
Bill's Radio and Television 105 East First Street 632-4020 Web Site E-Mail: billsrad@apci.net	Mon. through Fri. - 9AM to 5PM Saturday - 9AM to Noon (A great deal of his business is service calls. Our clerks will help you any way possible if Terry is out of the shop.)	Bill's Radio and Television offers full service television, radio, stereo, and satellite receiver repair. He is a Zenith dealer, although he is now doing primarily repairs, and a Dish Network dealer. There seems to always be a special on the Dish network! He recently moved from the store next to us to a work space behind us. If you have trouble finding his shop, stop in and we'll help you get there.
Studio 111 111 East First Street		Art classes for students of all ages and abilities. June runs a nice program, and works great with kids. The students in her adult classes have some very wonderful paintings. It is always amazing watching the people loading and unloading their paintings.
C&C Sports Stop 119 East First Street 632-7812	Mon, Tues, Wed, and Fri - 11AM to 6PM Thurs - Noon to 8PM Sat - 9AM to 3PM	A sporting goods store. Not just clothes like they used too, they also have the gloves, bats, and balls you need for just about any sport. They are the source for O'Fallon Panther and St. Clare Knights custom clothing. Superb screenprinting, they also added embroidery to their line. Stop by and say, "Hi."
Dress Rehearsal 123 East First Street 624-0330	Mon, Tues, Wed, and Fri - 10AM to 6PM Thurs - 10AM to 8PM Sat - 10AM to 4PM	One of the newer stores on the block, they offer a complete line of dance and skating apparel for children and adults.
Elegant Children 115 East First Street 628-3228	Monday 10AM to 6PM Tues. through Sat - 10AM to 5PM Sunday - 12 Noon to 4 PM	Caryn bills her shop as the "Metro East's Premier Consignment Shop." We tend to take exception with that! But Caryn specializes in children's clothing and accessories, including maternity wear. Her standards are high so you can be assured that what she has in stock is in perfect, or near-perfect, condition.
Wood Bakery 115 West First Street 632-5070	Mon. through Fri. - 5:30AM to 6PM Saturday - 6AM to 4PM Sunday - 6:30AM to Noon	The place to get your cakes for birthdays and other special occasions. An excellent selection of doughnuts, cookies, and other pastries.
Steven Mueller Florist 101 West First Street 632-4027	Mon. through Fri. - 9AM to 5PM Saturday - 9AM to 2PM	This is the place that has made us such "experts" in flowers and floral arrangements. Of course, we don't know squat about flowers, but they always put together very nice arrangements at a reasonable price. In the end, we get the credit for having picked out a wonderful arrangement., and only we know that we never even saw it before! Thank you folks, you keep us looking good.
Thriftware 129 West First Street 624-4244 Web Site	Tues. through Fri. - 11AM to 7PM Saturday - 11AM to 5PM	Don has a lot of nice furniture and other household items available. Some very beautiful items at a reasonable price. You need to keep checking because his inventory is constantly changing.
O'Fallon Historical Society 101 West State Street	Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday - 1PM to 4PM	A great place to learn about the history of O'Fallon. They always have interesting displays and information that help you understand why things are the way they are. Admission is free.
Bittles Drugs 115 East State Street 632-3241	Mon. through Fri. - 9AM to 7PM Saturday 9AM to 2PM	The old fashion neighborhood drug store where you can actually talk to the pharmacist. I was amazed at all the stuff I was taking when all I wanted to do was dry up my sinuses. John is full of good information to help you make the right choice when it comes to your medicine.
Towne Lounge		A family type of establishment. Very clean, and a nice place to unwind. Good food, and a nice variety. Tuesday is Taco Night, and Thursday is Golf Night. They have a fish fry on Friday. My only complaint is that they don't make pina coladas!
