Our business started as a consignment store. Used items at an affordable price were our bread and butter. Then we added new items to meet the needs of our customers. It works out nicely because many of the hardware items being consigned are the result of system upgrades we perform for our clients. Over the years we eliminated support for obsolete systems. Now we handle exclusively PC compatible hardware and software. Support for Macintosh, Apple II, and Commodore 64 computers was eliminated during the Summer of '98. We maintain several listings that deal with the used items currently available. Most items are one-of-a-kind and are subject to prior sale. When we consign an item, we try to be specific on the first word or two of the item description. This makes it easier for us to select items for a specific listing, or to run a quick search of the database. Most of the terms used are rather obvious, but some aren't. Video cards start with the word "Adapter," as do Ethernet cards. Drive controllers and multi I/O controller start with the word "Controller." Occasionally, mistakes are made and it may take a little while to remedy the situation. So you might want to look around and see if the item you are looking for is listed with a different spelling. The first two listings are alphabetical listings of all used items currently available. They are rather large and may take a couple of seconds to load. Please be patient. The rest of the listing are listings of the items many of our customers are looking for. They only list a specific type of item, and are in item number sequence. |
